Who's in?
Hoping to see Roots again and seek some revenge.
I'm in!
No agenda other than to have fun running through the woods with friends I haven't met yet. :-)
I'm in, too! I'm getting excited, though tapering this week will likely kill me.
Buzzie, cool! I'm glad to see other Michiganders making the trip.
Great! Jason I think you and I met my last time attempting this... 2008. I'll look for you :)
Next Saturday I will be at Happy Days drinking ice, cold, refreshing adult beverages...
Wait, I mean I will be working aid for the runners.
Yea, that is what I will be doing.
Also a chance I might sweep the course from Happy Days to the finish.
So any of you pushing the cut-offs for the 2nd half, I will be there to cheer you on and motivate you forward.
Got 20+ in from Station Road Bridge in Brecksville out to Boston and back today.
Hottest day of the year here.
Hope that it is cooler for BR100 than today.
Saw Mrs. Roots this morning, but LT was still out on his run.
Good luck with your taper madness everybody, and see you next weekend.
Movingon- did I sit with you and your husband at the pre-race meeting in '08?
Jim- thanks for volunteering!
100s aren't the best place to test new stuff, but I'm planning on rocking my new Sport Kilt and refining my "Mike's Hard Lemonade/ chia" iskiate energy drink. :-)
Unless you are testing for 150!
Jason, no husband, I was there with my mom and kids and my pacer. I think I ran with you a bit too.
Yeah Jim, have a beer for me... thanks for being out there, will ask for you at happy days!
I got an email requesting assistance at registration so will likely be there Friday helping out ... I have to work Sat, so won't get to see the race ...
taper well, all running, and hope to see you Friday!!!
the PRT is not somewhere to drop my morals and ethics and roll in the mud and muck and pretend those I am talking to aren't really people at all and it's alright to treat them like dirt.
Movingon- hope to see you again. I only vaguely remember many parts of the race. I suppose it was a trauma-induced amnesia thing (I DNFed at mile 64 in '08). :-)
Brian- excellent point. 150 miles... someday...
Jason pretty sure I ran with you along a wooded path some time after the towpath, I also DNF'd in '08, missed the cut off at mile 85...ouch.

Woo hoo hoo! That's good news for ALL of us - what with your great trail-marking performance at Mo' coupled with lessons learned. Nobody will be getting lost on YOUR section!
i'll be there pacing and crewing! look for the red glasses and introduce yourself!
I'll be the barefoot guy wearing the kilt and/or boonie hat. If someone else shows up in the same outfit, I'll be seriously pi$$ed! :-)
Sporti- thanks for helping out with check-in and marking!!!!
I have no idea what I'll be wearing and I don't know my number... hum am I really going?
Just kidding I'll be there... looking for you all!!!
A few of us are meeting up Friday (July 30th) at about 5:00 at Max McQ's in Akron (http://www.maxmcqs.com/index.php) for the Burning River pre-race meal. If you'd like to join us, come on down! Just email me (robillardj "at" gmail "dot" com) to give me an idea so I can give the bar a head count.
oh my goodness ... I was helping mark trails from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
had a great time but I am tired and looking forward to not setting an alarm in the morning ....
best wishes to all of those running .... I did my best to keep you from getting lost on the lower portion of the race!
enjoy the cooler temps!
