Okay, I know, hardly Tolstoy.
I needed something quick and trashy for reading over the vacation and I came across this series.
Altogether too much mayhem for a small town, but the charcacters are quite memorable.

The second book was good. Interesting that he hints at other supernatural stuff in a passing way.
