Wasn't sure about the hotel computer, and sure enough, it just zapped my attempt to post to the weekly. Anyway, I've been running a little on my way here to Salt Lake City, and mostly hiking. I did a pretty sweet progression run this morning at Canyonlands, out on a mostly soft gravel road to a trailhead and back, 10.56 km or 6.56 mi.. Elevation about 6,000 ft. and I was breathing pretty hard even at an easy pace. Just reading off the Garmin display, Lap 1 avg. pace 6:47/km, best 5:23 (ask Sal), Lap 2 avg. pace 6:22, best 4:54. I'm ready!

I made it to Layton,Utah at neice's apt., ~45min south of Logan.
But I've forgotten my cell phone and my semaphore flags.
I still need to run 3 miles.
No plans until dinner, unless somebody needs something since I get to use the car.

We ate at the Firehouse Pizzeria.
Everyone was there when I arrived.
I got lost, and decided to shop for some food items for tomorrow.
It was obvious some people had been drinking for quite a while when I got there.

I won't name any names, but I will say Opie had given up trying to keep up with her.

Millbot has been holding out on us.
This place is be-you-tee-full.

And these are just driving down the street.
Hard telling what we'll see out in the wild places.

Those are great pics JJ!

And what's wrong with Opie? His mouth is closed. Did someone just tell him that all the beer is gone?

MC was either an old white haired geezer or a chippendale dancer at Ragnar PNW, and I see he's chosen an Elvis costume for Ragnar Utah.
