Fort Vancouver 10K
3/29/09
Finish time 46:09, a new PR. Probably could have hit the 45:5x mark if there had been any mile markers to tell me where the hell I was. Oh well. Other than that and some sign-in confusion, it was a good inaugural race. The organizers decided to really cater to the kids, giving all "fun run" participants a tee shirt, a medal, and a pre-printed finish certificate with their names. All for free. That was enough to draw a lot of families out into the cold, so nearly 400 people took part in the 5k, 10k, and kids races (2 waves for different age groups).
Staying warm before the race.
