Starting again after being sick

I'm just now feeling better again after a nasty cold that knocked me out of running and working out completely for the past 10 days. I'm wondering -- when should I be back to a full-scale workout schedule? Before I got sick I was running 4 miles three times a week, doing cross-training and weights on the off three days, and then resting one day. I'm starting the Beginners 10k training schedule soon, and I'm just wondering if I should take it easy for the first week or so back out on the roads, or if I feel okay I should just go ahead and get back to normal? I don't want to relapse but I hate that I lost a good week and a half of progress (and have probably been set back). What's everyone's experiences, getting back to their workouts after being sick?

...heatseeker//......a Good Rule of Thumb is
''When in Doubt, DON'T''..
.....if you can handle a full work-out, great, if not just do what feels comfortable,
don't force it.

.......enjoy the work-out.....
