NordicTrack Commercial 1500

There is currently ONE left at my local Costco. Treadmill Doctor rated it as the best treadmill ever made under a grand. It's gotten decent write ups on other running forums for walking and light running, but no one talks about how it fares with heavy mileage.

Curious if anyone here has any insights?

I have other nordic track items and love them. i have a proform treadmill and it gets VERY HEAVY use from me and DH and is more than satisfactory. I probably run on it 6-8-ish hours a week and DH does 3-6 hours a week on it. I'd buy it biggrin.gif

I had a nordic track for quite awhile, good aerobic workout. My problem was when I started ramping up miles running, it effected something in my heels, felt like a grinding. Gave up the nordic track in favor of running, the pain in my heal went away. Interestingly cross country skiing did not have that effect. Perhaps something to do with the nordic track not allowing for lateral motion in the heel. Larry
