<b>Thanksgiving Weekend Holiday Fat Ass Event</b><br><br><br>

It is an honor system <i>virtual</i> fun run/race. You can run (or walk) anywhere. You must start and complete your run between the dates given ( 11/27 - 11/30 ) . The results, stories, and photos should be reported here in the Extreme Running Room. I will start a separate thread for them. A result list will be compiled and posted.<br><br>
When you've finished your event, please report the following details:<br><br>
1. The name of your event and the distance ( 50K or 25K )<br>
2. Your time (Hours : minutes : seconds)<br>
3. A "Race Report" including a brief description of your route/course, weather conditions, and anything else you want to share about your run. There will be a "Best Race Report" Award<br>
4. Include pictures for the photo contest !<br><br><br><br>

Here are the rules:<br><br>
1. Run or walk 25 or 50k between November 27th and November 30th, 2008. So... You have 96 Hours to complete your race ! However ...<br><br>
2. Time starts running at the time you start and finishes when you have run the full 25 or 50k. You can have breaks if you want but Your time will be the time between Start and Finish. See Seppo's examples below - <br><br>
You can start your run at the earliest on Nov 27 at 12:00 AM. You must be finished before Dec 1 at 12:00 AM. So you have 96 hours to run your event.<br><br>
Example 1. You start at 5.00 AM and you run till 9.00 AM and complete about 35k. You are cold and hungry so You go home, take a shower, eat and watch TV for couple of hours. At 1.00 PM you continue your run. You run the remaining 15k and finish at 3.00 PM. You have taken a total of 10 hours to run 50k, <b>that is your result</b>. <br><br>
Example 2. Your mother-in-law is coming to visit. You decide you want to spend as much time as possible with her so You start running immediately after breakfast (4:00 am) and run as fast as you can for 50K. You finish running at 8:00 AM. Your total time is 4 hours, <b>that is your result</b>. MIL is just getting up so you get some pancakes, bacon n eggs and homefries fired up .... its going to be a loooong day. <br><br>
