I live in northern New Jersey (Passaic County) and I need to be fitted properly inside the thread. Does anyone have any recommendations on good running stores in the Passaic/Northern Bergen County area. I am also not too far from Morris County.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I love this store! They are so helpful and have a great selection. Unfortunately I'm about an hour away but I have 1 client in that area. Every time I have to go see my client I budget extra time to stop there. Unfortunately I can't add that onto my billable hours:)

Thanks everyone (especially Kruss for the recommendation on Fleet Feet), I finally got a pair of good running sneakers from Fleet Feet in Mahwah. They were amazing there, they video taped me running for 30 seconds and found the right sneaker for me and also hooked me up with the superfeet inserts. When I run I feel like I am running on air and my pain in my shins has gone away.

I do need to stretch more, but the experience was great and I will be going there from now on.

Now that I have the right sneaker I am picking up my pace on training for my first 5k.
