I wear New Balance 767's since switching from Asics 2020. Reasonably satisfied except after 16 miles or so the bottom of my heel and the ball of my feet feel like they are running on the concrete. I'm thinking of buying some socks with cusioning in the balls of the feet and heel might help. Alternatively, anyone used any of the Doctor Scholl's padding in their running shoes?

I run with Thorlo socks level 3 and love them. You may want to try an OTC ortho to redistribute the pressure on the bottom of your foot. Just sharing what worked for me.

Hmm... I don't know that padded socks are really going to help much. I think it is usually the shoes job, especially when you're at 16 miles and beyond...
I think some Sole insoles may work... I bought some at zombierunner.com

About the same here GRR
I've been using the Dr Scholl's PF cushion in my left shoe for about a year And it seems to help.
Sockwise, I like toe sox, plus Smartwool Heavy Cushion Hiking sox.
For shoes, I like Cont. Divides better than Hardrocks.
