Team Continuum is delighted to announce the Team CAN Challenge event.
 
Team Continuum is a non-profit dedicated to helping cancer patients and their families minimize the disruptions, hardships and uncertainties of everyday life so that they can focus on crucial medical care. The group provides immediate and vital assistance - both practical and personal - every step of the way, such as paying household expenses, offering friendship and moral support, and funding health care facilities to enhance the delivery of care, communications and educational services.
 
Starting off near Central Park, this family-friendly team event takes competitors through a variety of unique challenges with the help of reality TV celebs Eliza Orlins (Survivor: Vanuatu and Survivor: Micronesia), and Sarah Leshner & Terence Gerchberg
(Amazing Race 13), along with a few of their reality TV pals. The goal is to have fun raising money for Team Continuum. Everyone can participate. That's right, athletes and non-athletes. Lots of fun, lots of prizes, and an after-party. All for a very low entry fee.
 
Date: Saturday, October 22nd
Time: 10:00am to 2:00pm
 
Entry Fee: $50 per person includes a Team Can Challenge t-shirt and goody bag. (Your #1 challenge is to raise as much money as possible by getting friends, family and colleagues to sponsor your participation. Raise $500 or more and select a reward based on your dollar total!)

Limited to 20 teams of three (First come, first served)
Each team member must register individually
 
Regulations:
  • Participants must be over 21 years old
  • Each team must bring a cell phone with camera, or a digital camera
 
Starting Line:
9:30am at the Dig Inn Seasonal Market (150 E 52nd St b/w 3rd & Lex Aves)

Celebration: After-party (location tbd), where individuals whose fundraising surpasses the $50 entry fee can choose an exciting reward - in addition to feeling good about helping a great cause! The more money you raise, the bigger your bonus!
 
Volunteers needed: We need lots of volunteers to help with each of the challenges. You will have loads of fun, get a Team Challenge t-shirt, and be invited to the After-Party.
